But that’s only assuming that I was actually missed lol. All jokes aside- it feels good to be posting again…I have so many updates. For those of you who have been with me throughout this journey know that I have been building a brand from ground…up. You have witness my trials and tribulations- and now it’s time for me to share some of my triumphs. Just recently, I was selected amongst 350 designers and artist to participate in this design show by the name of UNIQUE LA, which happens to be the largest independent design show in the country, and the only show to focus on modern, curated MADE-IN-AMERICA goods. This was my first time participating in anything like this- so I was extremely nervous. After months of preparation leading up to the 2-day event- designing, creating, editing, adding, subtracting, and editing some more…I was finally ready for the world and I am so thankful that my hard work was received well.
Thanks again Aisha, Marat, and Sonja for giving me the opportunity to shine. And thank you to all of my friends, family, and everyone else who came out to support me and my brand. And last but not least- a special thank you to Traci Alexis for helping me throughout this whole process and being there to make sure everything went smoothly.
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything new on the blog but I promise you it’s all in good reason- these last few months have been solely dedicated to revamping the brand and I am finally at a point where I am ready to present it to you all. In fact, the first opportunity is for those of you who are in (or will be in) the Los Angeles area…next weekend TEM will be debuting all of the new product exclusively at UNIQUE LA’s 5th Annual Spring Show.
What is UNIQUE LA you ask? Well, it happens to be the largest independent design show in the country that is curated specifically with MADE-IN-AMERICA goods directly from over 350 designers and artists, and I am so thrilled to be amongst this community!
In preparation for this two day event I am producing a limited amount of goods to be sold exclusively at UNIQUE LA and I can’t wait to share them with you!
I hope to see as many of you there as possible! For more information on the event click here.
I just released my first product of the year and I can honestly say that it is only a small indication of what’s to come from TEM in 2013. Just stay tuned and I will try to follow up more regularly. But for now I would like to direct your attention to the new ‘Essential’ Tee that I released this past Friday.
It was made and printed right here in Los Angeles (🇺🇸) from my original pattern using a super-soft combed ringspun cotton and it is slim-fitting. I didn’t over-think this one during the design process, and you shouldn’t over-think it when you wear it. The ‘Essential’ Tee is a versatile no-brainer. Hope you enjoy!
Here’s some outtakes from my CwG shoot I did with my good friend Aisha Shaya last week.
I’ve been knowing Aisha for a few years now and I’ve always admired how business savvy she is and how resourceful she is when it comes to getting things done. Also she’s one of the most thoughtful and genuine individuals I know- every time I’ve been a guest at her and her husband’s home, they’ve always made me feel extremely welcomed.
Pretty much- I love what she represents and I have no doubt that she is going to be extremely successful as the tastemaker she is.
Here’s some outtakes from my CwG shoot I did with my good friend Diana Ibanez.
I’ve been knowing Diana for a few years and I’ve always admired her ability to prioritize and stay focused on her goals…and with her graduating this semester it seems like it all of her hard work is paying off. I love what she represents and I have no doubt that she will become a future exec. of some large corporation (or even her own).

Here’s some outtakes from my CwG shoot I did with my new friend Miss Iman Milner of Edge Magazine.
Fun fact: Last week I had the opportunity to spend a brief moment with Iman while shooting her portrait, and though it was our first time officially meeting…she has the type of presence and spirit that makes you feel as if you have known her for years- just a good person to be around.
I love what she represents and her mission as an artist resonates with me. Iman is definitely someone follow. Check out here interview here: CwG- Iman Milner
